A-MAX Exceeds 100 Days of Giving Food Drive Goal

On July 15th, 2016 during the grand opening celebration of our 100th location, our leadership team announced to the entire company the kick off of our 100 Days of Giving Food Drive, as our way to give back to the customers and communities that have helped us grow 100 offices strong. Our goal was to collect 10,000 food donations across all of our 100+ locations for a period of 100 days; and in return A-MAX would match each donation by giving $1 for every food item collected to Feeding Texas, a statewide non-profit organization leading a unified effort for a hunger-free Texas.

During the food drive we sent out weekly emails to update everyone on the progress made towards meeting our statewide goal.

In closing out the 100 Days of Giving Food Drive, we are so delighted to say that A-MAX collected 12,718 non-perishable food items that have all been given to local food banks throughout Texas; along with a matched cash donation of $12,718 to the Feeding Texas non-profit organization. All of the donations will go towards helping feed thousands of Texans who otherwise may not have had access to food.
